    Self-publishing gives you 100% control – and responsibility – over the timing, pace, and final format of your book. You publish under your own name, and can sometimes save some money handling the process yourself.

    Publishing with a hybrid press like Trickster Press means your book will become part of our “library,” and you will become part of the Trickster family of authors!

    Our logo and name will be on the binding of your book, and you’ll sign a royalty agreement that favors you (the author).

    Either way, we exist to empower you to get your book on the shelves.

  • As a hybrid press, we are partners in your book’s success. We handle editing, cover design, formatting, and upload to distributors, so you don’t have to worry about any creative or logistic fatigue.

    Because this is a hybrid publishing partnership, our model includes both an upfront production fee to cover the in-house services we provide, and a royalty agreement that favors the author.

  • No, we offer cover design as a separate service.

    We are happy to work with your existing cover files if you provide them. We do not edit or reformat existing files. We will guide you through printing requirements and help you ensure your cover files are in good shape.

    You and/or your designer may need to be available for hands on edits during the publishing process.
