WRITE AWAY: Your Personal Destination Writing Retreat

for Authors Who Are Seriously Ready
to Finish their Book
and Want to Trick Themselves
into Doing So
During What Feels
Suspiciously Like a Vacation
With their Very Good Friends

Imagine waking up to the sound of jazz wafting in from the living space, where Raven and Ryan are relaxing around a beautiful table with a meal prepared just the way you like it. After a leisurely post-breakfast stroll, you sit down to a hot beverage and a 60 minute focused writing session, which you choose to do on a lounge chair by the pool. After your session, Raven sneaks off to edit your work into a polished chapter, while you and Ryan chat about your authorship journey and all the things you’re excited about for your book. You take a few hours to yourself to enjoy the environment, read, and have a long bath. Before dinner, you and Ryan spend another hour recording an interview that will become your next chapter. After dinner, Raven presents you with her edits from the day, and you review it tucked into your cozy private suite.

Three more days of this luxurious routine, and then you’re going on a fun day adventure on a boat to celebrate finishing the manuscript.

After that, you’ve got a fully styled and produced photoshoot to capture images for your book launch, which you’re doing after massages overlooking the ocean.

Some books need a desk.

Others need a passport.

Inspiration to finish your book doesn't always come under fluorescent lights, at the local coffee shop, or at the same desk you've been sitting at for months.

Sometimes the fastest way to finish your book is to change the scenery.

So… pick a destination.

A beach in Mexico.

A mountain town in Colorado.

A villa in Italy.

We'll help you choose the perfect location to produce your manuscript–pretty much anywhere in the world–create a personalized writing plan, and meet you there.

Together in person, we'll spend our days writing, editing, moving our bodies, brainstorming, eating exceptional food, asking questions, and activating the momentum that turns a book idea into an actual manuscript.

This isn't a conference.

It's not a workshop.

And it's definitely not a vacation disguised as productivity.

It's an immersive creative sprint designed to help you make more progress on your book in a single week than most people make in six months.

Let’s jump timelines to the one where you’ve completed a book.

On your Write Away retreat, there will be short but extremely focused (and therefore easy) interviews & writing sessions.

There will be excellent organic food and sensual nourishment.

There will be invitations for play and movement tailored to your preferences and energy levels.

There will be strategy conversations involving Raven’s famous white-board mind maps.

There will be moments of breakthrough, perhaps tears, definitely laughter, and at least one conversation with Ryan that will change the entire direction of your book for the better.

And, there will also be rest.

Because creative work doesn't happen through force. It happens through rhythm.

Between writing sessions, you might find yourself swimming in the ocean, walking through a historic city, eating ceviche by the water, sitting in a thermal spa, or watching the sunset while solving a chapter problem that has been haunting you for months.

The goal isn't to grind.

The goal is to create the conditions where the work finally wants to happen, where you’re actually having fun, living your life, and writing with confidence and trust in yourself.

Write Away retreats are1-2 weeks long, start at $20k, and are designed for you.
